Festival di Sanremo 2023 – second night and first general classification

The so awaited second night of the Festival di Sanremo 2023 gave us new songs to fall in love with, with the remaining artists finally performing on that stage. I  might say it was almost an easy show, for our hots Amadeus, Gianni and Francesca: no surprises, no one smashing anything on the stage and no disruptions, if not some minor tech issues with a couple of singers. What we predicted here, it is almost reality: Marco Mengoni is still leading the rankings after two nights. The Press Room - that was the only one to vote for the first 2 days - decided that the best artist/song so far it is Marco. The first night of the Festival di Sanremo 2023 was broadcast yesterday, between praises and critics. Is there something about the Festival di Sanremo that I really do not like? Yep! The useless and prolonged time of duration of the show. It is true that Eurovision Song Contest created their competition taking inspiration and example from the Festival di Sanremo, but at least there are no dead times or useless/unwanted pathetic shows. Cornelia Jackobs performs at QX Gaygala 2022

The Swedish representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 was a special guest at the QX Gaygala 2022, a LGBTQ awards ceremony held in Stockholm. This event was established by Swedish magazine QX in 1999 and it's an annual gala to hand out prizes for LGBT achievements. Cornelia sang "Hold Me Closer" one last time before departing to Turin and she was watched by members of the Swedish Royal Family, among other Melodifestivalen participants. Eurivision Song Contest 2022 – Israeli delegation’s participation in doubt.

Less than a month to the so awaited Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, and KAN - Israeli Broadcaster - announced that their participation to the contest is uncertain. On this road to Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, I'm reacting to  Achille Lauro’s song - Stripper - from San Marino Eurovision 2022. I’ve always loved Achille’s performances which have always been interesting, intelligent and catchy, but I am struggling - right now - to understand the song, the meaning behind, and the choice made by San Marino for Eurovision Song Contest 2022.  It does look to me as if Achille Lauro has put a series of words together, a series of famous sentences all in line to make them rhyme and sound nice… but still, even if the music is catchy (and not new to his style), I can’t seem to fall in love with this song.  Have your say, I’m super curious!
