Adele’s back with “Easy on Me”

We had to wait for 6 long years but she is finally back: Adele releases Easy On Me her first single from her new album 30. The reactions of her fans is unique! I admit I’ve never been an Adele’s fan, but I must confess that yesterday I waited for midnight to come in order to listen to her new single “Easy on Me”… and did I like it? I absolutely loved it… even if it made me cry. Of course, afters such an injection of feelings, I started reading comments of her fans from all over the world, and Lil NasX was - I think - the leader on twitter yesterday night. He said: “Easy On Me’ is so good. It’s so crazy to think the last time Adele released new music I was sitting on stan Twitter. I feel like I’m 15 again.” (this appeared on a twit he quickly deleted)  The song is such a heavy ba...

Turbulent moments for the ex-Little Mix member Jesy Nelson accused of Blackfishing by Leigh-Anne Pinnock

When everything seemed settled and calm, and Jesy finally released her first solo hit on 8th October 2021, featuring Nicki Minaj, here you have a new drama! Apparently, Jesy Nelson faced allegations of “blackfishing” – this is a term that refers to a white person who appropriates Blackness by using make-up, fake tan, lip fillers, and appropriating styles made popular by Black people. And guess who was this person who started it all? Apparently - staying to what the influencer NoHun said - it was her ex bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock that accused Jesy of Blackfishin in a private messages exchange on Instagram (and apparently, some screenshots of said conversation leaked on the internet). Leigh-Anne called Jesy a “horrible person” saying she should be called out publicly for blackfishing fa...

Raffaella Carrà: why was she so loved by the LGBT+ people?

Raffaella Carrà the Italian and International Gay Icon who never understood why she was so loved by the LGBT+ people. In one of her interviews she once admitted that she really did not understand why she became such a powerful and loved Gay Icon. Raffaella, died yesterday at the age of 78, since the very first appearance on tv, with a natural simplicity, was able to wreck tabus, to sing of sexual freedom, female empowerment, independence and, of gay loves, with a big smile on her face. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ8_q5SBTM-/ Raffaella Carrà, back in 1978, on Rai1 - the equivalent of BBC1 in Italy - sang "Luca". Måneskin on top of the world and fighting against Homophobia in Poland

Måneskin is absolutely the strongest music band of the moment, and these Italians really do it better than others ... or at least, when it comes to fight prejudice and homophobia. Damiano David and Thomas Raggi have kissed on stage in Poland in protest of rising levels of homophobia in the country, especially after all the LGBT Free Zones were created. The Italian Rock Band, who won Eurovision Song Contest 2021 against all odds, started a European tour that has seen each date to be quickly sold out, and during their concert in Poland, they launched a serious message of love, acceptance and togetherness. On their IG profile they posted the below video: https://www.instagram.com/p/CQmLgfQISg6/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link   And yes, Damiano, you are perfectly right: LOVE ...

Eurovision 2021 – First Semifinal results and reactions.

The first Semifinal of Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has just ended and we have the first 10 finalists that will join the Big 5 and The Netherlands in the Grand Final of Saturday 22nd May 2021.  So many feelings, so many emotions: we spent the whole night watching the event live from the Press Room in Rotterdam Ahoy Arena, and hey, did we have goosebumps the whole night! Two years since the last real Eurovision Song Contest (Tel Aviv 2019) and we finally had the chance to enjoy such a fantastic music show that the whole world enjoyed.  Who are the finalists? Do we agree with them all? No! Absolutely not!  Norway for example: a very weak staging; a very weak voice and we hope the back singers are paid good enough to save Tix’s voice every time he sings live on that stage; majori...

Little Mix introduces a new “boy band” in Confetti music video.

Little Mix is happy to introduce a new boy band: the trio Pez, J-Dog and Lenny participating in their latest music video, Confetti. Little Mix just came out of a very difficult time for the band after Jasy Nelson decided to leave for personal reasons, and they are now back with a new and amazing video for their latest single Confetti. Confetti is the fourth single to be released from Little Mix’s album of the same name, and the band’s first release without vocals from Jesy. The video sees the girls hitting up a nightclub and being confronted by Pez, J-Dog and Lenny, their male alter-egos, with a scene at urinals that will make history of drag-kings. Russia’s documentary film festival forced by anti-LGBT activists to cancel film

Artdocfest, Russia’s largest documentary film festival, has been targeted by anti-LGBT activists. They had programmed Silent Voice, a documentary about a young Chechen MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter who had to escape from Chechnya for Brussels when his brother discovered he was gay and threatened to kill him. The film was due to be screened on 5 and 6 April in Moscow. The organisers of the festival told the Novaya Gazeta newspaper that a man who identified himself only as ‘Suliman’ threatened them with ‘serious consequences’ if they did not pull the film from the festival’s line up. According to Screen International, he also told them that the film ‘violates the rights of Chechens’ as there are ‘no gays’ in Chechnya. Screen International report that the festival’s director, Ekho Mo...
