A talented and gifted artist – we fell in love with during Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Rage UK – that finally releases her first single.
STAR is the title of Veronica’s debut song, and no, it is not what you would expect from a typical drag queen: she’s serving you ballad realness, with a song rich of pumping beats, comedy and emotional lyrics strongly influenced by her love for musical theatre.
She said: “it is the perfect introduction to my musical world. I think a lot of people will relate to this song, coming from small towns and villages and finding their place and acceptance in a big city. […] It’s a big musical theatre-style pop song that provides the perfect introduction to my musical world.”
‘Stars’ is written and produced by Ian Masterson (alongside Hayley Sanderson) who has worked with Girls Aloud, Pet Shop Boys, Dannii Minogue and Sophie Ellis Bextor. Masterson is also the music producer of Strictly Come Dancing.
After testing positive for covid-19, Veronica Green was forced to pull off RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, but her talent, Karisma, nerve and uniqueness have secured her an open invitation from Mama Ru to be part of the cast of Season 3!
