Cornelia Jackobs performs at QX Gaygala 2022

The Swedish representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 was a special guest at the QX Gaygala 2022, a LGBTQ awards ceremony held in Stockholm. This event was established by Swedish magazine QX in 1999 and it's an annual gala to hand out prizes for LGBT achievements. Cornelia sang "Hold Me Closer" one last time before departing to Turin and she was watched by members of the Swedish Royal Family, among other Melodifestivalen participants. Less than a month to the so awaited Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, and KAN - Israeli Broadcaster - announced that their participation to the contest is uncertain. I’ve always loved Achille’s performances which have always been interesting, intelligent and catchy, but I am struggling - right now - to understand the song, the meaning behind, and the choice made by San Marino for Eurovision Song Contest 2022. It does look to me as if Achille Lauro has put a series of words together, a series of famous sentences all in line to make them rhyme and sound nice… but still, even if the music is catchy (and not new to his style), I can’t seem to fall in love with this song.
