Left-wing MPs troll Andrzej Duda the homophobe at his swearing creating a rainbow with their outfits.

The fight for LGBT+ Rights in Poland is something that must be carried on, and these MP’s from the left-wing have found a great way to troll the re-confirmed president to Poland. As anticipated, unfortunately Andrzej Duda was re-elected president of Poland last month:in  his campaign he lashed out at same-sex marriage and promised to ban same-sex couples from adopting children, comparing homosexuality to devil’s plans. With his re-election, LGBT+ rights (or whatever the LGBT+ communities in Poland reached) were smashed and completely cancelled. With the LGBT+ Polish population under attack, some activists still try to fight against this huge wave of homophobia, and some of the left-wing MPs decided to show their support to the LGBT+ community wearing colourful outfits and creating a rain...

Edinburgh asks Krakow to defend LGBT+ Rights

After Krakow joined the LGBT+ Free Zones, the Mayor of Edinburgh asked their counterpart in Poland to rethink their position and oppose to homophobia by defending LGBT+ rights. As reported by the Edinburgh Evening News, the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Frank Ross, has written to the Mayor of Krakow - Jacek Majchrowski -  and has asked him to clarify the Polish city’s opposition to homophobia and LGBT+ oppression. Since 1994 the two cities are twinned by a civic partnership agreement, and cooperate in many areas including culture, heritage, monument protection and education. This same partnership has been renewed last year, but after Krakow decided to join the “LGBT+ Free Zones”, the Mayor of Edinburgh is urging them to rethink their position. Twinned towns can obtain EU grants of up to €1...

Russian Foreign Ministry formally told-off the UK, US and Canadian Embassies for flying a rainbow flag during pride month.

Homophobia at its purest state. “Yes, we passed a law banning the propaganda of homosexuality among minors. So what? Let people grow up, become adults and then decide their own destinies.” https://twitter.com/CanadaRussia/status/1276863053976436736?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1276863053976436736%7Ctwgr%5E&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinknews.co.uk%2F2020%2F07%2F29%2Frussia-pride-flag-foreign-ministry-complaint-uk-us-canadian-embassy-rainbow-lgbt%2F This is what Putin said during the Pride month when he got told that the US Embassy was flying a rainbow flag out of their windows, but now things got formal and the Russian Foreign Ministry sent an official complaint to the UK, US and Canadian Embassies for having flown a rainbow flag during the pride month. GLAAD is calling for LGBT+ people and their allies to stop Trump re-election.

GLAAD’s president, Sarah Kate Ellis is asking the LGBT+ population to act ahead of the US Elections. Sarah, in her open-hearted op-ed for The Advocate said: “We have 100 days to impact the course of history and put LGBTQ+ equality and social justice back on the forward-moving path,” and then urged everyone to register to vote, to talk to 10 people they know about how the election impacted and could impact them as an LGBT+ person, and, crucially, to get out and vote on 3rd November. Already in 2018 mid-terms USA experienced a real “rainbow-wave” with the LGBT+ population electing public figures at all levels, and Sarah is positive that “we can do the same in the U.S. Senate” this year. GLAAD has been monitoring Trump presidency over these years and unfortunately him and his administratio...

Italy: the proposed law against homophobia could favour homophobes and not the LGBT+ people if the basic text is not changed.

Majority and opposition in full agreement to sanction the right to discriminate and be homophobic. From today, according to the recently modified text of the bill against homo-transphobia in Italy, you can insult any LGBT+ person and be homophobic, and still you would not be punished by law. Oh yeah! Because if "Italy is a country that does not discriminate!", then the flood of protests against the proposed law against homotransphobia that we are facing, and that are coming from the right parties, those extremist also the so called "Catholic-Fiscists", do not makes no sense. Among the first ones to contest the bill we find Matteo Salvini who continues in full denial style, to shift media's attention to something else, coming to sputtering absurd ideas as the one that there is no differen...

Israel tries to ban conversion therapies for LGBT+ People

Israel becomes the first country in the Middle East to ban a sick and primitive practice. Only 30 years ago - in 1990 - W.H.O removed homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses, and immediately afterwards also the American Psychological Association and other similar and very influential scientific institutions in the world, warned of the deleterious mental consequences that people can have when "doctors" want to forcefully change someone's sexual orientation. Lobotomy was formerly used (in those cases which were considered 'difficult'), today, those countries that still allow such therapies, the use of hard mental practices, such as "pray the gay away"  - which are worse than a lobotomy - make "patients" fall into confusing states of mind that too often result in suicides. US finally places sanctions on Chechnya’s gay purge tyrant for ‘gross violations of human rights, including torture and killings’

USA sanctioning Chechnya’s gay purges for violating human rights, torturing and killing innocent people. Gay purges in Chechnya started early 2017, when Romzan Kadyrov called for Chechnya to be purified of gay people. But, at the same time he said and (still does) that “We don’t have those kinds of people here. We don’t have any gays. If there are any, take them to Canada. Praise the God. Take them far from us so we don’t have them at home. To purify our blood, if there are any here, take them. They are devils. They are for sale. They are not people.” Mike Pompeo condemns ‘horrific reports of abuses against LGBTI persons’. Finally, on Monday, the US levelled personal sanctions against the Chechen leader, his wife and his daughter — banning them from travel to the US, and permitting th...

America: ban to fly the Rainbow flag at the Pentagon.

The States are not facing easy times because of COVID-19 and all the protests against racism, but this new “Policy” on “divisive symbols” is raising serious concerns. Yes, because amongst these “divisive symbols” we confined the Confederate Flag and The Rainbow Flag too. One could easy understand that the Confederate Flag is divisive (The Confederacy was the group of southern US states that fought to keep slavery during the US civil war), but why should the Rainbow Flag be so, when it is also known and used a symbol of peace? https://twitter.com/elwasson/status/1284233454754902017?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1284233454754902017%7Ctwgr%5E&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinknews.co.uk%2F2020%2F07%2F20%2Fpride-flag-rainbow-banned-us-military-confederate-pentagon%2F ...

Donald Trump gets silenced by historic Supreme Court’s ruling.

The Supreme Court ruling says employers can’t fire people for being LGBT+ The court ruled that existing provisions under the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which outlaw discrimination based on sex, also apply to cases where “an employer fires an individual merely for being gay or transgender”. This act extends the sex-based employment discrimination protections known as Title VII to LGBT+ people in all 50 states, stopping (hopefully erasing soon) the thousands of obstacles put in place by Donald Trump’s presidency and his cabinet. Neil Gorsuch - conservative justice - wrote: “It is impossible to discriminate against a person for being homosexual or transgender without discriminating against that individual based on sex. Consider, for example, an employer with two employees, both of whom a...
