Eurovision 2021 – Måneskin are back in Italy and today they will be taking a drug test.

The band that won Eurovision 2021, landed in Rome yesterday and quickly communicated the they are all going to get tested for drugs today 24th May 2021. This is what the lead-singer, Damiano David, communicated via social networks to all their fans and to those who followed them during Eurovision Song Contest 2021, for them to stop all those speculations saying that he used drugs during the live Grand Final of the competition. This drug test, and a negative result, could finally stop the case of allegations launched by the Swedish press-accredited-person in the Press Room during the Winner’s press conference after the grand final of the Eurovision 2021, and from the newspaper Paris Match, on the possible use of drugs by Damiano David.  EBU released a press note a few hours later...

Eurovision 2021- EBU releases a press communication after useless and harmful speculations on Måneskin

Eurovision Song Contest 2021 crowned their winners last night with Måneskin taking the contest back to Italy, but the web is going mad and harmfully speculating over the use of drug by Damiano - singer of the band - during the Grand Final.     As we said in our previous article, during the Winner's press conference after the victory of Måneskin at Eurovision 2021, a Swedish person accredited as press - that we do not call journalist, because a real journalist would have never asked such a question -  asked the band if during the final of the competition, when the camera was filming them and saw Damiano bending towards the table for a few seconds, the lead singer was snorting cocaine.       The 2 seconds of video the haters went crazy about ca...

Eurovision 2021 – Måneskin wins and takes the contest back to Italy.

What an amazing night, this Grand Finale of Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with a so unexpected but wanted victory of the Italian Band Måneskin. It was looking almost impossible, given the high scores that Switzerland and France had reached by almost the end of the votes announcements... but Måneskin were finally able to bring the Eurovision Song Contest back to Italy after they last held it in 1990. This becomes the 3rd time that Italy wins Eurovision. https://youtu.be/msfdz_aksY8?t=13578 The performance started in such a great way, with the entire audience of the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, clapping and cheering for the band as if it was a real rock concert: Måneskin did deliver a great performance and showed that Italy rocks and can do it in such a great way. The band started playi...

Eurovision 2021 – Who is Ahmad Joudeh

We’ve seen him and appreciated his performance (and not only) in yesterday’s second Semifinal of Eurovision 2021, so we want to invite you all to get to know Ahmad a bit closer. Ahmad is Syrian and is now an international ballet star, but his past and childhood gave him many obstacles to overcome, and he did, boy if he did!  He was born in 1990 in Yarmouk in Damascus, where he grew up and lived for the first years of his life. From 2007 until 2016 he studied dance and taught ballet to support himself in the city of Damascus. He also taught dance to orphaned and disabled children free of charge. His mother still lives in Syria, while his father lives in Germany. Ahmad not only struggled to survive as a dancer during the Syrian war: he also fought a tough, private war to realise his dream...

Eurovision 2021 – Duncan Laurence testes positive for Covid-19

A vey sad news has just reached us from Rotterdam: Duncan Laurence tested positive for Covid-19 and will not be able to take part to the Grand Finale of Eurovision 2021 as planned. Once again, COVID-19 makes the lives of the organisers of Eurovision song contest 2021 miserable. Unfortunately the winner of Eurovision 2019, the Dutch Duncan Lawrence, tested positive for COVID-19 and therefore will not take part to the grand finale of Saturday 22nd of May 2021. This is such a sad news as the artist has been preparing himself for over two years. EBU released a statement that we are reporting below: Duncan Laurence, winner of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest for the Netherlands and was scheduled to perform live during Saturday’s Grand Final, has tested positive for COVID-19, his management a...

Eurovision 2021 – First Semifinal results and reactions.

The first Semifinal of Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has just ended and we have the first 10 finalists that will join the Big 5 and The Netherlands in the Grand Final of Saturday 22nd May 2021.  So many feelings, so many emotions: we spent the whole night watching the event live from the Press Room in Rotterdam Ahoy Arena, and hey, did we have goosebumps the whole night! Two years since the last real Eurovision Song Contest (Tel Aviv 2019) and we finally had the chance to enjoy such a fantastic music show that the whole world enjoyed.  Who are the finalists? Do we agree with them all? No! Absolutely not!  Norway for example: a very weak staging; a very weak voice and we hope the back singers are paid good enough to save Tix’s voice every time he sings live on that stage; majori...

Eurovision 2021 – Covid-19 cases and quarantine updates

Covid-19 is still a number one danger for all artists participating to Eurovision 2021. Today, all accredited press received the following communication: "Following the positive COVID-19 test in the Polish delegation on Saturday 15 May all other members of the delegation undertook a PCR test, in accordance with the health and safety protocol of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, and we’re pleased to report that all these PCR tests returned negative results. As a precaution the Polish delegation will remain in quarantine until being retested ahead of dress rehearsals for Semi Final 2, in which Poland perform, on Wednesday. Following a positive COVID-19 test within the Icelandic delegationyesterday (Sunday 16 May), they too have had PCR tests for which we are awaiting the results to...

This is my TOP 5 for #ESC2021 with #Titina21

Becoming a Titiner and loving it; Selecting my Top5 For Eurovision Song Contest and loving it even more! With the victory of Duncan Laurence in 2019, the contest moved from Tel Aviv to Rotterdam, an expected return on Dutch soil after 45 years since their last victory. The 65th edition of the show will surely be remembered as the first in history to be postponed (due to Covid-19) but also as the first to be aired without a live audience (which I am afraid it might probably have a negative impact on the show). While 34 out of 40 participating countries will have to compete in the two semi-finals to gain a ticket for the grand final, the 'Big Five', joined by The Netherlands, will 'only' need to worry about bringing a decent act on stage. But the question still remains, year after...

Måneskin win Sanremo 2021 and fly to Eurovision 2021 to rock that stage

Historical win for the long-lasting Festival of the Italian Song - Sanremo 2021 - that sees a rock band winning the competition against all odds. It was already over 2 am in Italy and the Festival of Sanremo 2021 crowned their winner. Måneskin triumphed on that stage and demonstrated (again) to the whole world - actually shocking Italy - that talent shows do work and are able to discover amazing talents. Månesking is an Italian rock band consisting of lead vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio. The band rose to fame after ending up second in the 12th Italian version of XFactor (2017). "Zitti e Buoni" (tr. shut up and calm) is a rock song that will shake the stage of Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, were Månes...
