We had a lovely chat with Cubita from Festival da Canção 2022 on this Road To Eurovision, and she told us about her amazement for music and her dreams as a singer and as girl. Cubita, participating in Festival da Canção 2022 in Portugal, is a very shy but sweet girl. Her tough appearance is only a mask that covers one of the most gentle and kind girls we’ve ever had the chance to interview on our Road to Eurovision Song Contest. We asked her many questions and talked with her about her participation in Festival da Canção and what would mean for her being part of Eurovision Song Contest too. Festival da Canção 2022: All songs and commentary [SEMIFINAL 1]

Last Friday, the Portuguese broadcaster RTP announced all the artists and songs competing to represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. In total, 20 acts were allocated to one of 2 semifinals. The Semifinals of the Festival da Canção 2022 will take place on March 5 and 7 and the final is set for March 12. The Portuguese broadcaster RTP released yesterday the full list of names of the 20 competing sonwriters for Festival da Canção, the national selecion of Portugal for the Eurovision Song Contest. There are 16 invited songwriters and 4 others who advanced via public submission and were chosen by RTP.
