Edinburgh asks Krakow to defend LGBT+ Rights

After Krakow joined the LGBT+ Free Zones, the Mayor of Edinburgh asked their counterpart in Poland to rethink their position and oppose to homophobia by defending LGBT+ rights. As reported by the Edinburgh Evening News, the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Frank Ross, has written to the Mayor of Krakow - Jacek Majchrowski -  and has asked him to clarify the Polish city’s opposition to homophobia and LGBT+ oppression. Since 1994 the two cities are twinned by a civic partnership agreement, and cooperate in many areas including culture, heritage, monument protection and education. This same partnership has been renewed last year, but after Krakow decided to join the “LGBT+ Free Zones”, the Mayor of Edinburgh is urging them to rethink their position. Twinned towns can obtain EU grants of up to €1...

“I lost my job because of the LGBT+ Mafia”, says the teacher that used to misngender a trans boy.

He was already fired from another school for calling Muhammad a “false prophet”. The Oxford Mail reports the happening: Joshua Sutcliffe - this is the name of the teacher - got fired from Cherwell School in Oxford back in November 2017 for repeatedly misgendering a trans boy. He said his christian faith and beliefs could not allow him to accept the gender theory. After he was sacked, he wrote a letter to the school saying: “As a Christian, I do not share your belief in the ideology of transgenderism. I do not believe that young children should be encouraged to self-select a ‘gender’ which may be different from their biological sex; or that everyone at school should adjust their behaviour to accommodate such a ‘transition’; or that people should be punished for lack of enthusiasm about it...

Trans woman sent to men’s prison: a story of abuses and terrifying rapes

A trans woman from Virginia lived one of the most horrible experiences a trans person could live. As the WYDaily reports, Tykira Spruill’s nightmare began back in 2006 at St Bride’s Correctional Facility in Chesapeake, Virginia, after she was arrested for stealing. At that time she had recently started medically transitioning with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and silicone injections in her face, but when she arrived she was stripped of any gender-affirming clothing and placed in a men’s area. But unfortunately it did not stop there, as she later got charged with “identity fraud charges” and when she was taken to prison the story repeated. She was still having silicone injections before she was incarcerated, and when she was taken the doctor on duty for an infection - always in the m...

Gay Couple brutally beaten in Derry (Northern Ireland)

They only tried to defend a woman that was being harassed by a man. Emmett Doherty and Luke Bromilow were set upon in the early hours of Sunday morning outside a Chinese takeaway after they attempted to help a woman who was being harassed by men. Emmett simply told the man “don’t speak to a woman like that”, and in no time he became the target of the man’s homophobic slurs before getting beaten and left needing the help of doctors. The attack is being treated as a hate crime, and this is the case! Speaking to the Derry Journal, Emmett explained that he and his partner had been considering moving back to the city, but “that is obviously not going to happen now”.         He then added: “Luke is absolutely terrified, he wanted to go back early. He won’t leave the house. He is absolutely ...

Polish Feminist Activists gave a rainbow make-over to a Jesus’ statue.

As an act of rebellion against the ANTI-LGBT+ politics of the country, this group of Feminist Activists in Warsaw decided to give some colour to a symbol of power to fight against homophobia. A radical queer feminist group named Stop Bzdurom (Stop Bullshit) claimed responsibility for the protest against the homophobic situation of their country, hanging a Pride flag on a statue of Jesus and sharing a video on social media. They were very direct in their message, saying that homophobia is rampant and very dangerous in Poland, and they also promised to stand with the LGBT+ community that is “afraid to hold hands”. Their promise is clear and solemn: “As long as the Pride flag makes someone worse and ‘inappropriate’, we solemnly promise to provoke. […] We are pissed off that our symbol - a s...

Bristol sees a wave of “door-to-door” homophobia.

Police are carrying out door-to-door enquiries to collect “abhorrent” homophobic pamphlets that were delivered to residences in Bristol, the Bristol Live reports. There is a strong investigation taking place in Bristol after some anonymous people have pushed through letterboxes of the houses in Redland (a suburb of Bristol) a pamphlet with extremest anti-LGBT+ cartoons. These pamphlet listed homosexuality as a sin, alongside incest, child sacrifice and other bestialities. It all happened on Saturday 18th July. A police spokesperson said to the Bristol Live “We have received a report about offensive material being distributed in the Redland area in recent days. […]  House-to-house enquiries are being undertaken as part of an ongoing investigation.” The “Home Alone” comic warns of the dan...

Italy: the proposed law against homophobia could favour homophobes and not the LGBT+ people if the basic text is not changed.

Majority and opposition in full agreement to sanction the right to discriminate and be homophobic. From today, according to the recently modified text of the bill against homo-transphobia in Italy, you can insult any LGBT+ person and be homophobic, and still you would not be punished by law. Oh yeah! Because if "Italy is a country that does not discriminate!", then the flood of protests against the proposed law against homotransphobia that we are facing, and that are coming from the right parties, those extremist also the so called "Catholic-Fiscists", do not makes no sense. Among the first ones to contest the bill we find Matteo Salvini who continues in full denial style, to shift media's attention to something else, coming to sputtering absurd ideas as the one that there is no differen...

US finally places sanctions on Chechnya’s gay purge tyrant for ‘gross violations of human rights, including torture and killings’

USA sanctioning Chechnya’s gay purges for violating human rights, torturing and killing innocent people. Gay purges in Chechnya started early 2017, when Romzan Kadyrov called for Chechnya to be purified of gay people. But, at the same time he said and (still does) that “We don’t have those kinds of people here. We don’t have any gays. If there are any, take them to Canada. Praise the God. Take them far from us so we don’t have them at home. To purify our blood, if there are any here, take them. They are devils. They are for sale. They are not people.” Mike Pompeo condemns ‘horrific reports of abuses against LGBTI persons’. Finally, on Monday, the US levelled personal sanctions against the Chechen leader, his wife and his daughter — banning them from travel to the US, and permitting th...
