Why we love Senhit – San Marino’s FREAKY queen

From her first appearance on Dusseldorf's stage in 2011 to her great return to the contest in 2020 (and then again in 2021), she's conquered our hearts with her warm smiles, her powerful voice and, let's be honest, her always different, unique and never boring outfits. We are obviously talking of the undisputed queen of San Marino (yes Valentina, 'Maybe' you have tried too many times and dropped the crown!), 'Her Freakiness' , Senhit. After an unfair non-qualification in 2011 with the beautiful pop-ballad 'Stand By' (for which, by the way, I am still crying out for revenge), she accepted to come back and 'battle', again, for one of the smallest countries in the world, that has an history whne it comes to competing in this Contest: San Marino. Let's be clear: a returning artist f...

We will consider the options now available and announce more details in the coming weeks on how we can safely admit audiences to the Ahoy venue in Rotterdam should the situation allow. The #FreakyTripToRotterdam continues with Senhit wishing “Merry Christmas” in a very special way.

Never before has a Eurovision singer gone so far, perhaps also because never before have we experienced such an unusual year in the history of this festival. Senhit, Italian singer running under San Marino's flag, which we interviewed here, is working the extra mile to take us all with her on a #FreakyTripToRotterdam. She has already sung different remakes of famous Eurovision songs, and all of them have been restyled, renewed and reinterpreted in unique ways, bringing messages of positivity, hope and love to all listeners. This new remake is a song that won Eurovision in 2017, sung by Salvador Sobral from Portugal, a song that already brings a powerful message of love and strength, where the loving one in the couple is aware that maybe the other person is not ready to love, is ...

Senhit: a Eurovision star fighting to improve Women’s lives

This second lock-down for Covid-19 around the world has shown very worrying numbers when it comes to Domestic violence. The idea was born from the artistic duo Senhit formed together with Luca Tommassini - the internationally famous Italian dancer and choreographer - victim of domestic violence when he was only a child. In a video posted on Instagram Senhit said: "Staying locked at home is difficult for everyone, but in these months of isolation those who live in situations of violence have little chance of escape. In Italy alone, th...
