Cornelia Jackobs performs at QX Gaygala 2022

The Swedish representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 was a special guest at the QX Gaygala 2022, a LGBTQ awards ceremony held in Stockholm. This event was established by Swedish magazine QX in 1999 and it's an annual gala to hand out prizes for LGBT achievements. Cornelia sang "Hold Me Closer" one last time before departing to Turin and she was watched by members of the Swedish Royal Family, among other Melodifestivalen participants. Melodifestivalen 2022 line-up completed!

The Swedish broadcaster SVT had revealed the full line-up of 28 acts participating in the Sweden's national final for Eurovision: Melodifestivalen. After a forced break caused by the pandemic, the usual tour across Sweden will happen again and six shows will be spread across five Swedish cities. Oscar Zia, who competed both in 2014 and 2016, is in charge of hosting the shows and further details on other possible hosts are still to be announced.
