The Portuguese broadcaster RTP released yesterday the full list of names of the 20 competing sonwriters for Festival da Canção, the national selecion of Portugal for the Eurovision Song Contest. There are 16 invited songwriters and 4 others who advanced via public submission and were chosen by RTP. The next edition of Eurovision Song Contest is getting closer day by day and rumours have already started about who might be the hosts of the contest this year, at PalaOlimpico Stadium, in Turin. A name that had early emerged as a potential host and shocked the Eurovision community was the the famous Lebanese-British singer, MIKA. Eurovision 2021 winners, Måneskin, performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, making this their debut on American television! The band played "Begging", which is currently #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States (smart choice, hun?). There was also time for a special performance of "MAMMAMIA" released exclusively on their YouTube Channel. Mikolas Josef submitted a song for ESCZ 2021

Mikolas Josef, representant for Czech Republic at Eurovision Song Contest 2018 and best country's result in the competiton until today (6th place) has submitted a song for the national final ESCZ 2022. Around 150 songs have been presented to the broadcaster, but only up to 8 will be selected for the show, which will take place in December 2021. The show will be entirely online, whike the audience will watch the live-on-tape performances. The jury will hold 50% of the voting, while 25% will be for the Czech public and the remaining 25% will be for the international audience. Will Mikolas be receiving the golden ticket once again and fly the Czech flag at Eurovision? What are your expectations?

EBU finally put and end to the case of alleged drug use at Eurovision Song Contest 2021 by Damiano of Måneskin. The press release is clear and leaves no doubt: No drug use took place! The band that won Eurovision 2021, landed in Rome yesterday and quickly communicated the they are all going to get tested for drugs today 24th May 2021. This is what the lead-singer, Damiano David, communicated via social networks to all their fans and to those who followed them during Eurovision Song Contest 2021, for them to stop all those speculations saying that he used drugs during the live Grand Final of the competition.
