Happy Pride Month 2021

Happy Pride Month 2021 - we are to celebrate life, diversity, love and inclusion. This past couple of years have been very complicated for the whole world, for sure, but for the LGBT+ community, things have been even worst - sometimes. This pandemic forced people to live together in narrow spaces: too often LGBT+ people had to live in hostile environments and their lives, their mental health were put in serious risk. June is the month when we celebrate Pride globally: we also celebrate life, inclusion, we scream out loud our right to exist, to live and love, to have a decent life and get our rights recognised. June is generally the month when we start marching our Pride Parades, or at least we used to, before Covid-19 messed up with our lives.  I would therefore love to begin this mon...
Why we should never give up on finding love

Why we should never give up on finding love

If all else fails in life, love is always to be found somewhere. Love is the reason why we should never give up.   Love is no longer the storyline of a 1950’s film scenario. You’re not going to turn up to a party and there sits your soulmate playing the piano and exchanging glances. Love is confined to online dating platforms unless you consider a one night stand pick-up at a lesbian bar sufficient. Actually, a quickie at a lesbian bar is ample for most lesbians. Correct me if I’m wrong but love no longer seems to be the main goal for most people and thus begins the life journey on finding a partner who is socially acceptable based on their career, status and financial standing in contrast to finding someone who can bestow upon you daily butterflies. The three main questions whe...

Mental Health needs TLC: PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ

My whole world came falling down in silence and there was no one there to help cushion the fall.   We walk the streets of London on our way to work every morning. We either wait at the bus stop or we queue to enter the tube. As we stand there, we stand amongst our fellow Londoners. Some dressed in suits ready for work in the city and others in their uniforms. We stand in silence as we await our destination, holding the railings or sitting down, our eyes firmly on the ground. Do you stop to think what might go on in the lives of those that surround you on your daily morning routine ? I sit there and I look at every single person and I try to imagine what their lives might be like. By the expression people carry, nine times out of ten you can tell if they are in muddy waters. I sit...

Sex is no longer a taboo topic but the orgasm is no longer its end goal

The orgasm will soon become a thing of the past and sexual gratification will be seeked openly through other means to an end.   We are all educated on ‘traditional’ sex and we have all experienced its glory but what was once a formal traditionalist performance has become a crazed, drug fuelled, alcohol induced, wild swinging, bondage, disciplined, mistress, painful, lust and empowering stage show. Whatever happened to two people sharing a passionate, sexual and precious moment discovering one another’s pleasures ? We are spoilt with a number of rabbits, dildos, strap-ons and miscellaneous sex toys so I guess that orgasms have become a thing of the past. I was once friends with a German lesbian who became trapped by the lesbian stigma of not wanting children, basing her attraction p...

Pakistan: First transgender policewoman to become trans victims support officer.

She faced death threats, offences, sexual harassment and did not have an easy life, but these hard times did not stop her. She is the first transgender police officer to become trans victims support officer using her experience to help others. Her name Reem Sharif, and during an interview she said that she intends to prove trans people can be perfect leaders, able to inspire others like her, to help change and stop all those prejudices that have held them back. Reem added: “Unless (trans people) have role models to follow, they will continue in the same footsteps of their predecessors who have survived by begging, dancing or carrying out sex work. But when they see a transgender policewoman or a television anchor or a lawyer, they will realise they can dream and aspire to reach for the s...

The Transexual Heroine: from suicide to hope

With a handful of pills and a bottle of vodka, she was moments away from ending her life. My opinions are mostly not appreciated within the community. I for one, shall not be dictated to think and to believe a certain way. The transgender movement is mostly formulated based on a fashion statement or used to drive and push a specific agenda. The transgender community does not include transexuals and post ops. The transgender community is one of fiction whereby men and women randomly chose days on which they will either dress a certain way and behave in a certain manner. The issue with this movement is that it is costing the taxpayer a little fortune in unnecessary bills such as the re-issuing of public toilets, signs, incomprehensible legal aid etc. This little fortune could be spe...

Agenda pushing ‘gender dysphoria’ is a mental health illness

Let’s get one thing straight ! no pronouns will cure gender dysphoria. It is a mental health illness which can be regulated with therapy. The denial of therapy being the key success to regulation is simply absurd while the belief that labels and pronouns ‘they’ and ‘them’ are of great assistance. Such allegation parallels that of ‘all schizophrenics can be treated by admitting that the hallucinations are real’. When someone suffers from a mental health illness, the first point is to find the source of the problem. The definition of gender dysphoria by the NHS is as follows ‘a condition where a person experiences discomfort or distress because there's a mismatch between their biological sex and gender identity’. It's sometimes known as gender incongruence.’ In other words, to cure gender in...

I will not call you anything else but ‘she’ and ‘he’

She, he, they, her, his... why should we complicate our lives? Scientifically there are only two genders: male and female. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and begin by opening this dialogue with ‘what if someone considers themselves to be gender fluid ?’. Gender fluidity is a paradox, in layman terms it is self contradictory. For example, you cannot support gender equality and claim that gender is non-binary. If we are to debate this topic scientifically then let’s use a relatively easy case. If you are to receive urgent medical care then how on earth is the doctor supposed to guess your gender ? Would you as a woman or man claim to be the opposite gender, therefore injecting you with a lethal dose of medication ? Scientifically we all observe two genders but chose to be neither one or b...
