Drag Race Italia – S3 – Why Lina Galore should be the winner.

Can Lina Galore win the third series of Drag Race Italia? We are only 1 day away from the Grand Finale of Drag Race Italia, and this is why I think Lina Galore should win the race. 20th Dec 2023, only 1 week left before we can get to know who is the Next Italian Drag Queen Super Star. Yes, the hype is high, and we all have our favourite Drag Queen. Me? Well… I’m #TeamLinaGalore … and I’ll tell you why. But first of all: who is Lina Galore? Lina Galore, originally from Naples, is one of the best known and most original drag performers on Milan's LGBTQI+ scene. She is the example that a Drag Queen can surely wear beautiful wigs and make up, but culture and intelligence can be a Queen’s best friends. In various interviews, she often said that she takes inspiration from various fe...

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 3 – we’ve got a winner, baby.

Millions of eyes glued to their tv screens yesterday to watch the Grand Finale of RuPaul’s DragRace UK Season 3, but was the winner really deserving to be crowned? (spoilers contained in this post) We’ve already had the chance to express our opinion about RuPual’s DragRace UK season 3 in this post, and no…. It was not an article praising and complimenting this season, but what surprised us, was that readers and fans across the globe agreed with us. Yesterday we all waited for the Grand Finale, and we have to admit that it was a great episode, with a lovely Christmas(y) song and choreo, and the presence (again) of the Queens of Series 3.  *SPOILER ALERT* Krystal Versace (20 year-old from Kent) was crowned Queen of the Queens of Season 3 and has followed in the footsteps of previous wi...
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S3: the weakest ever seen until now.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S3: the weakest ever seen until now.

The third series of RuPaul’s Drag Rage UK is airing on BBC every Thursday evening, but we all have the feeling that this is not the best that British Drag Scene can offer. After such a strong a second series, with characters like Lawrence Chaney, Tia Kofi and Veronica Green (back in season 3 because of Covid), we were all expecting to watch a levelled-up new series of the most loved and lasting tv reality-show that celebrates the art of Drag Queens… and instead… we feel we’ve been let down. Saving just a little group of the queens competing this year in RuPaul’s Drag Rage UK, namely Choriza May, Veronica Green, Ella Vaday, all the others really lack in personality and uniqueness.  Every new episode the viewer has the feeling that there is some magic which is missing to this show: wh...

DRAG RACE UK Star, Veronica Green, releases her debut single “STARS”

A talented and gifted artist - we fell in love with during Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Rage UK -  that finally releases her first single. STAR is the title of Veronica’s debut song, and no, it is not what you would expect from a typical drag queen: she’s serving you ballad realness, with a song rich of pumping beats, comedy and emotional lyrics strongly influenced by her love for musical theatre. She said: “it is the perfect introduction to my musical world. I think a lot of people will relate to this song, coming from small towns and villages and finding their place and acceptance in a big city. […] It's a big musical theatre-style pop song that provides the perfect introduction to my musical world." 'Stars' is written and produced by Ian Masterson (alongside Hayley Sanderson) who has ...

Forget “basic”, welcome awesomeness with Tia Kofi’s first music video

During her participation to RuPaul's Drag Race UK she was accused of being "basic"... we b*#@$es... she is back and there is nothing basic. Tia Kofi won by far a great number of RPDR UK's fans with her sympathy and sense of humor, but also because she has demonstrated to all of us that she can be a great entertainer. She released her fist song last Friday, and we spoke about her debut single here. Today she is out with her music video, and believe us: you will love her awesomeness! https://youtu.be/MKSIjZsrCg4 Tia Kofi spoke to Metro about her career transition: "It's something that's always been sort of inside, in my head and something that I've always sort of aspired to, but I never dreamed that I'd have the platform or the ability to do it. . . . I've actually written songs...

Tia Kofi releases her first music single – Outside In – and is a blast!

A bid for pop-drag-superstardom with a song, an anthem title Outside In. It is a triumphant and fierce electro-pop song written by Little Boots, Tom Aspaul and Gil Lewis, the one that Tia Kofi decided to use as debut single. An honest invitation to look “beyond the surface”. Tia Kofi had to Sashay Away in yesterday’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK (Season 2) but she was able to win the hearts of thousands of viewers from the UK and from around the world with her honesty, uniqueness and persona. Amongst all the other queens of season 2 in UK, she was the one remained absolutely true to her-self and her drag-alter-ego.  Speaking to GayTimes she said: “It unleashes the things you’ve always wanted to do. My drag has always been about that pop princess energy and living that life, ...
