Fronted by Damiano David, Maneskin have become one of the most popular Eurovision contestants in recent years, with their success extending beyond the competition and turning the band into worldwide success. Måneskin is absolutely the strongest music band of the moment, and these Italians really do it better than others ... or at least, when it comes to fight prejudice and homophobia. Damiano David and Thomas Raggi have kissed on stage in Poland in protest of rising levels of homophobia in the country, especially after all the LGBT Free Zones were created. EBU finally put and end to the case of alleged drug use at Eurovision Song Contest 2021 by Damiano of Måneskin. The press release is clear and leaves no doubt: No drug use took place! The band that won Eurovision 2021, landed in Rome yesterday and quickly communicated the they are all going to get tested for drugs today 24th May 2021. This is what the lead-singer, Damiano David, communicated via social networks to all their fans and to those who followed them during Eurovision Song Contest 2021, for them to stop all those speculations saying that he used drugs during the live Grand Final of the competition. What an amazing night, this Grand Finale of Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with a so unexpected but wanted victory of the Italian Band Måneskin. It was looking almost impossible, given the high scores that Switzerland and France had reached by almost the end of the votes announcements... but Måneskin were finally able to bring the Eurovision Song Contest back to Italy after they last held it in 1990. What a week for Eurovision Lovers like us! Three entries, three new songs, and 2 almost unexpected entries to the competition in Rotterdam. The very first big surprise was given to us by Sanremo 2021 - the Festival of Italian Song - that crowned Måneskin as the winners of this edition with their song "Zitti e Buoni".
