Why we love Senhit – San Marino’s FREAKY queen

From her first appearance on Dusseldorf's stage in 2011 to her great return to the contest in 2020 (and then again in 2021), she's conquered our hearts with her warm smiles, her powerful voice and, let's be honest, her always different, unique and never boring outfits. We are obviously talking of the undisputed queen of San Marino (yes Valentina, 'Maybe' you have tried too many times and dropped the crown!), 'Her Freakiness' , Senhit. After an unfair non-qualification in 2011 with the beautiful pop-ballad 'Stand By' (for which, by the way, I am still crying out for revenge), she accepted to come back and 'battle', again, for one of the smallest countries in the world, that has an history whne it comes to competing in this Contest: San Marino. Let's be clear: a returning artist f...

Michelle Visage and STEPS release “Heartbreak in this City”.

A new pop-track for those - like me - that love a taste of 90’s POP Music. STEPS announced the release of their “What the Future holds Pr.2” foreseen later this year, and they surprise us with a new single featuring on of RuPaul’s Drag Race Star Judges, Michelle Visage. Michelle, that is now. 52 year-old international pop-star, that once was part of a girlo pop-band called “Seduction”, decides to join the famous British group STEPS (Ian 'H' Watkins, Faye Tozer, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee and Lee Latchford-Evans) for a new song that  is accompanied by a futuristic video, where our special “love-force” continues fighting to protect real love! The group recorded the video in a peculiar and very technological way, as Scott-Lee - living in Dubai - had to shot her scenes separately due t...

DRAG RACE UK Star, Veronica Green, releases her debut single “STARS”

A talented and gifted artist - we fell in love with during Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Rage UK -  that finally releases her first single. STAR is the title of Veronica’s debut song, and no, it is not what you would expect from a typical drag queen: she’s serving you ballad realness, with a song rich of pumping beats, comedy and emotional lyrics strongly influenced by her love for musical theatre. She said: “it is the perfect introduction to my musical world. I think a lot of people will relate to this song, coming from small towns and villages and finding their place and acceptance in a big city. […] It's a big musical theatre-style pop song that provides the perfect introduction to my musical world." 'Stars' is written and produced by Ian Masterson (alongside Hayley Sanderson) who has ...

This is my TOP 5 for #ESC2021 with #Titina21

Becoming a Titiner and loving it; Selecting my Top5 For Eurovision Song Contest and loving it even more! With the victory of Duncan Laurence in 2019, the contest moved from Tel Aviv to Rotterdam, an expected return on Dutch soil after 45 years since their last victory. The 65th edition of the show will surely be remembered as the first in history to be postponed (due to Covid-19) but also as the first to be aired without a live audience (which I am afraid it might probably have a negative impact on the show). While 34 out of 40 participating countries will have to compete in the two semi-finals to gain a ticket for the grand final, the 'Big Five', joined by The Netherlands, will 'only' need to worry about bringing a decent act on stage. But the question still remains, year after...

Forget “basic”, welcome awesomeness with Tia Kofi’s first music video

During her participation to RuPaul's Drag Race UK she was accused of being "basic"... we b*#@$es... she is back and there is nothing basic. Tia Kofi won by far a great number of RPDR UK's fans with her sympathy and sense of humor, but also because she has demonstrated to all of us that she can be a great entertainer. She released her fist song last Friday, and we spoke about her debut single here. Today she is out with her music video, and believe us: you will love her awesomeness! https://youtu.be/MKSIjZsrCg4 Tia Kofi spoke to Metro about her career transition: "It's something that's always been sort of inside, in my head and something that I've always sort of aspired to, but I never dreamed that I'd have the platform or the ability to do it. . . . I've actually written songs...

Tia Kofi releases her first music single – Outside In – and is a blast!

A bid for pop-drag-superstardom with a song, an anthem title Outside In. It is a triumphant and fierce electro-pop song written by Little Boots, Tom Aspaul and Gil Lewis, the one that Tia Kofi decided to use as debut single. An honest invitation to look “beyond the surface”. Tia Kofi had to Sashay Away in yesterday’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK (Season 2) but she was able to win the hearts of thousands of viewers from the UK and from around the world with her honesty, uniqueness and persona. Amongst all the other queens of season 2 in UK, she was the one remained absolutely true to her-self and her drag-alter-ego.  Speaking to GayTimes she said: “It unleashes the things you’ve always wanted to do. My drag has always been about that pop princess energy and living that life, ...

Dolche releases Exotic Diorama – a new album that touches our souls.

We spoke to Dolche a few weeks ago and had so much fun with her unique style and costumes. Now she gave birth to her new album and shortly after to her child. Dolche is an independent artist that is able to mix in her music sounds and emotions coming from all over the world. Her new album has been produced between Rome, New York, Beirut and Visby, and it is a very important album - both for the artist but for our entire community - as it is all about LGBT+ life and violence against women.  The album takes his name from the famous dioramas that we can find at the National Museum of Natural History of New York , where each song creates an independent world made of musical influences and atmospheres so distant from one another but  still so matching amongst them. You can dowload an...
